Bullrush Lodge is a 2 bedroom spacious luxury lodge in a beautiful lakeside setting located in the heart of the Vale of Pewsey, Wiltshire. The lodge is all on one level inside, ideal for couples and family groups or for those with limited mobility. Ramp access is available to the side of the lodge. The master bedroom can be configured as a super king double or a twin bedroom, if preferred. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a bath with shower over, a W/C & wash basin. The second bedroom can be either a super king double or a twin bedroom. There is also a main bathroom with a shower cubicle, W/C & wash basin. The fully equipped kitchen provides you with all the facilities you would expect for your stay and the spacious open plan living and dining area allows you to fully relax and unwind. The high ceilings and patio doors create a feeling of space and enhance your living space. This openness further extends out onto your outdoor veranda. From here enjoy the peace and calmness of the beautiful surroundings overlooking the pond where the swans gracefully glide across the water. You may also encounter a variety of wildlife as you stroll around the 3 acre site. The Kennet and Avon Canal is also only a short 5 minute uphill walk from Willowbank Lodges and it opens up a variety of activities such as fishing, kayaking, cycling or strolling along the towpath to a canal side pub for a lazy afternoon lunch.

Further afield there are many pretty villages nearby to investigate such as Marlborough, Devizes and Bath. Pewsey is the nearest village if you need to pick up any supplies or take the 5 minute drive to the Lawn Farm Shop where you can pick up an abundance of fresh produce. Marlborough is a lovely market town with a very picturesque high street where you will find a variety of independent shops and restaurants. The Marlborough Jazz Festival takes place over 3 days every July. Take a wander up the Neolithic Monument of Marlborough Mound which standing at 19 metres high gives you an excellent bird’s eye view of the surrounding area. This may entice you to investigate the area further for an overview of the famous 8 chalk horses dotted along the landscape, 2 of which are located in the Vale of Pewsey. The Pewsey White Horse can be visited from the top of Pewsey Hill where there are footpaths leading to the horse, along with some areas for parking your car.
