Butterfly Lodge is single level cabin overlooking seven acres of countryside and a fishing pond, near Burnham-on-Sea in the beautiful county of Somerset. The lodge is just one of eight cosy holiday lodges, on the edge of the scenic Somerset Levels, set on an ex-dairy farm.

An excellent choice for family holidays, the farm offers adventure activities to keep the whole family entertained including paddleboards, kayaking, archery, shooting and axe throwing! Fishing is available on the nearby river and at a small course-fishing pond, plus there are animals on the Farm including rare-breed sheep and some chickens that supply the onsite farm shop with fresh eggs.

Inside, this log-cabin style holiday lodge sleeps 2 guests in one double bedroom but can accommodate an extra 2 people by using the sofa bed. Comfortably furnished, there is an open plan living / dining area and a very well-equipped kitchen. The sofa seating faces large patio doors through which you can enjoy tranquil views over the pond. Outside there is a small patio with a picnic table for al fresco dining.

Butterfly is classed as a mostly ‘accessible’ log cabin, with parking close by and level access with double door entry (there is a small lip). There is also a wet room with toilet rail and a range of equipment that you can hire such as profile beds, commode chairs and shower chairs, if required.

Wall Eden Farm, where Butterfly Lodge is situated, is in the perfect location for exploring Somerset and is approximately 15 minutes from the coast by car.

Exmoor National Park is only a 50 minute drive away.

There are numerous attractions and villages in the local area, including Longleat Safari Park, Cheddar Gorge, Glastonbury, Weston Super Mare, Bath and the Fleet Air Arm Museum.

• Wall Eden is on an ex dairy farm and so still has a traditional rustic charm feel to it.
• All tracks and pathways are gravelled but may be a little uneven in places.
• Other areas of the site are grassy and may be a bit uneven around the pods, pond, river and cabins.
• The reception is located at the top of the farm track and is accessed via a paved ramp. There is a slight lip on the door to gain access inside.
• Parking is nearby.
• Level access via a ramp or 2 steps up to the decking.
• There is a small lip/threshold step of the entrance door to the lodge.
• The lodge is not wheelchair accessible.
• Wet room with handrails.
• Shower chair (stationary rubber footed) and/or toilet frame available free of charge. (Must be booked at least 4 weeks in advance)
• Fishing available on-site on a private stretch of the River Brue or the small coarse pond. The ground will be uneven in places and will be a mixture of gravel path and grass.
• The nearest fishing location is the coarse pond, however the River Brue is only a 2-3 minute walk away.
