Badgers Rest Lodge is situated at Wall Eden Farm, an ex-dairy farm near Burnham-on-Sea in Somerset. This pet friendly holiday lodge enjoys a stunning position in the Somerset countryside and is one of eight log cabin style lodges set on open farmland on the edge of the beautiful Somerset Levels. Animals on site include ‘Jacob’ sheep and chickens that supply farm-fresh eggs which can be purchased at the farm shop.

Inside, this lovely holiday lodge comfortably sleeps 5 guests, with one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and one single bedroom. The open plan living / dining room is cosy and welcoming; the kitchen well-equipped. Outside, you’ll find a wooden veranda equipped with chairs, allowing you to relax and enjoy the countryside views.

Possible family activities at Wall Eden Farm include archery, shooting and axe throwing, plus watersports such as kayaking, canoeing and paddleboards. Fishing is available on-site on a private stretch of the River Brue or nearby on the Farm’s small coarse pond. Plus, there’s a café / bar for snacks and drinks.

Badgers Rest is classed as a partially accessible log cabin offering wheelchair access to certain rooms. There is parking close by and a level double door entry point (with a small lip). There is also a wet room with toilet rail and a range of equipment that can be hired such as profile beds, commode chairs and shower chairs.

Wall Eden Farm is a popular holiday destination in a particularly scenic part of Somerset. The farm is in the perfect location for exploring Somerset and is just under 15 minutes’ drive from its wonderful coastline.

Wall Eden Farm is located on the banks of the River Brue.

Exmoor National Park is only a 50 minute drive away.

There are numerous attractions and villages in the local area, including Longleat Safari Park, Cheddar Gorge, Glastonbury, Weston Super Mare, Bath and the Fleet Air Arm Museum.

• Wall Eden is on an ex dairy farm and so still has a traditional rustic charm feel to it.
• All tracks and pathways are gravelled but may be a little uneven in places.
• Other areas of the site are grassy and may be a bit uneven around the pods, pond, river and cabins.
• The reception is located at the top of the farm track and is accessed via a paved ramp. There is a slight lip on the door to gain access inside.
• Parking is nearby.
• Level access via a ramp or 2 steps up to the decking.
• There is a small lip/threshold step of the entrance door to the lodge.
• Wet room.
• The lodge is not wheelchair accessible.
• Assistance dogs are permitted in Badgers Rest Lodge at a nightly charge of £5.00

• Fishing available on-site on a private stretch of the River Brue or the small coarse pond. The ground will be uneven in places and will be a mixture of gravel path and grass.
