River Bay is situated in a wonderful position, set in a small marina in Brundall. Brundall is located in the heart of the Broads just South East of Norwich city centre and is an ideal base from which to enjoy your Norfolk Broads holiday.

This charming waterside property is perfect for a small family. The property sleeps 4 people in one en-suite king sized double bedroom and an en-suite twin bedroom. The living space is open plan with French windows leading to the decking area and private garden. Bring your own paddleboard or kayak and have a family day out on the water exploring. Fishing is available direct from the quay heading of your property and is a nice way to relax and unwind. Open season is the 16 June – 14 March. A rod licence is required.

The Norfolk Broads is a very popular holiday destination with many holidaymakers returning year after year. The region has its own microclimate and is a haven for wildlife. Make sure to bring your binoculars as there is an abundance of activity throughout the year. You have easy access to the RSPB site Strumpshaw Fen nature reserve and Strumpshaw Steam Museum both located on the outskirts of the village. Fairhaven Water Gardens are within a 10 minute drive. Here you will find 130 acres of cultivated, wild and natural plantings and it is an absolute wildlife haven. Stroll around the 4 miles of woodland pathways where you will be graced with views over their own private Broad. Short boat tours are offered on South Walsham Broad.

Brundall village has everything you need on your doorstep such as shops, a supermarket and many pubs and restaurants and also 2 train stations. This provides easy access to the medieval city of Norwich or have a family fun filled day at the seaside town of Great Yarmouth. The Norfolk coast is also only a short drive if you wish to visit the seals and their pubs at Horsey beach. Come back after your busy day and dine alfresco on your decking as you watch the sunset over the river.

• Fishing is available approximately 7 metres from the property via the stairs or ramp.
