However, its prime location on the river makes it the ideal spot for river adventures by boat, kayak, canoe or paddleboard. With a mooring available at the property you can opt for day boat hire to fully immerse yourself in the Norfolk way of life.
This stunning property sleeps up to 6 people in 2 super king size bedrooms and 1 bunk bedroom. To take advantage of the spectacular views the kitchen, lounge and dining areas are located on the upper floor for a panoramic view over the river and beyond. The large dining table sits in one of the bay windows so you can watch the world go by as you dine. A further bay window offers the comfort of 2 high backed armchairs for your morning coffee, a relaxing afternoon of reading of pre-dinner aperitif.
On those long summer days make use of the beautiful outdoor pergola, sit back and unwind as you watch boats pass you by or look out for local wildlife. The Norfolk Broads is a haven for wildlife. Make sure to bring your binoculars as there is an abundance of activity throughout the year. You have easy access to the RSPB site Strumpshaw Fen nature reserve and Strumpshaw Steam Museum both located on the outskirts of the village. Fairhaven Water Gardens are within a 10 minute drive. Here you will find 130 acres of cultivated, wild and natural plantings and it is an absolute wildlife haven. Stroll around the 4 miles of woodland pathways where you will be graced with views over their own private Broad. Short boat tours are offered on South Walsham Broad.
Brundall has the convenience of 2 train stations which makes it accessible for exploring both the medieval city of Norwich and also of the seaside town of Great Yarmouth. Brundall is also well serviced with a good selection of shops including a supermarket, garden centre, chemist, and a selection of take away restaurants. You will also find a couple of nice riverside pubs if you fancy dining out one evening after your busy day of activities. Your stay at The Flag House will leave you feeling refreshed, revitalised and rejuvenated.

A 25% deposit is required on booking, balance is due 4 weeks beforehand.
