Ferry Lodge is a brand new property opening for Christmas 2023. Situated in a wonderful riverside position on the banks of the River Yare close to the popular village of Brundall. Brundall is located at the heart of the Norfolk Broads making it a prime location for exploring the area. This property is perfect for a getaway for larger families or a friends get together. The property sleeps 7 in a master double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, a double bedroom and a family bedroom with single bunk over a full size double bed. This perfect riverside holiday accommodation, boasts a timber interior and has all you need for a perfect home from home waterside break.
The open plan living area is furnished in a contemporary style with doors that open onto the private furnished decking. This is the perfect spot for relaxing, soaking up the sun and watching the stunning Norfolk sunsets. Enjoy having your morning coffee here or a glass of fizz at the end of a busy day of activities. Take advantage of direct river fishing. A rod permit required. (The open season runs from 16th June to 14th March) You have the added bonus of a Bait fridge on site. Please Note: Caution should be observed with young children and pets as the river’s edge is unfenced.
The Norfolk Broads is a haven for wildlife. Make sure to bring your binoculars as there is an abundance of activity throughout the year. You have easy access to the RSPB site Strumpshaw Fen nature reserve and Strumpshaw Steam Museum both located on the outskirts of the village. Fairhaven Water Gardens are within a 10 minute drive. Here you will find 130 acres of cultivated, wild and natural plantings and it is an absolute wildlife haven. Stroll around the 4 miles of woodland pathways where you will be graced with views over their own private Broad. Short boat tours are offered on South Walsham Broad
For the more adventurous who wish to get and out and explore bring your own boat and moor it right outside. This gives you the flexibility to get out on the water whenever you feel like it. It is also the perfect spot for kayaking and paddleboarding (Please bring your own.) Brundall has the convenience of 2 train stations which makes it accessible for exploring both the medieval city of Norwich and also of the seaside town of Great Yarmouth. Brundall is also well serviced with a good selection of shops including a supermarket, garden centre, chemist, and a selection of take away restaurants. You will also find a couple of nice riverside pubs if you fancy dining out one evening after your busy day of activities. Your stay at Ferry Lodge will leave you feeling refreshed, revitalised and rejuvenated.

The property is situated perfectly for exploring places on the broads, such as Norwich or Great Yarmouth, accessible easily by car and rail, the nearest train station is Brundall.
The Norfolk Coast and sandy beaches are a short drive away from the property.
There are numerous family-friendly attractions in the local area, including Wroxham Barns, BeWilderwood, Bure Valley Railway and Broads Tours river trips.
