Located on the West Coast of Scotland these lovely accommodations are just 16 miles south of the popular town of Oban.

Anchorage Lochview Garden Suite is a 2-bedroom self-catering apartment which sleeps 6 and is pet friendly. You can choose from a double bedroom and a super king double or 1 twin bedroom. There is also a convertible sofa bed in the lounge. This apartment is all on one level on the ground floor and is accessed via an external set of stairs or a ramp. The open plan living, dining and kitchen area opens onto a furnished patio, within a beautiful private garden, overlooking Loch Melfort. Your holiday home offers some additional features such as a private sauna and wood burning fire - all of which will be welcome and appreciated after a day of outdoor activities such as walking, fishing, windsurfing, sea kayaking and for the very brave, some wild swimming!

This is one of the most beautiful locations by the sea, providing an ideal touring base for the west coast of Scotland – an international destination. Peace, tranquility and beautiful scenery are the main attractions in the area. Enjoy your morning cuppa from your patio as you take in the breathtaking views of sea, loch, mountain and garden. If you wish to explore further afield then head to one of the local golf courses or landscaped gardens such as Ardmaddy Castle and gardens. Alternatively, take a short 30-minute car journey to the coastal town of Oban. From here you can explore the western islands of Mull, Iona and more by ferry. The short 45-minute journey to Mull takes you the enchanted colourful streets of Tobermory, the dramatic cliff top Duart Castle or the miles of pristine beach at Calgary Bay. Oban itself, is known as the seafood capital of Scotland, so be sure to try out the local delicacies, perhaps after a brisk walk to McCaigs Tower for the spectacular view over Oban Bay. Finish with a wee dram of whisky from the Oban distillery, one of the smallest and oldest in Scotland.

Closest Shop - In Oban there is a large Tesco's. In Kilmelford (1 ½ miles away) there is a small village shop for local provisions.

Closest Pub - In Kilmelford there is a local hotel and public house called the Cuilfail Hotel or try The Lord of the Isles pub in Craobh Haven (15 minute drive).

Free fishing from the pier in to Loch Melfort (sea loch) - mackerel from July to late August.

Fly Fishing at Inverawe Fisheries & Country Park - Approx. 1 hour 10 mins away. Lessons available.

Feel free to bring your own sailing boat or windsurfer.

Moorings are available in harbour (charges apply).

• Parking is adjacent to the property and is approximately 4 metres from the property entrance via a tarmac path.
• This house has three stone steps with a handrail and there is also ramp access available.
• The property is all on one level inside.
• There is a threshold patio step to gain access to the outdoor patio.
• A further 3 steps lead down to the level patio.
• Direct fishing is not available at the property but is available from the pier. Follow the tarmac path for around 135 metres to reach the pier.
