This modern property sleeps 4 people in one double bedroom and one twin bedroom so ideal for a small family or a friends get together. There is an open-plan living area with an electric stove for the cooler evenings. Extend the long summer days by opening the patio doors leading onto a large decking area, where you can take advantage of dining alfresco whilst enjoying the beautiful views of the River Thurne.

Potter Heigham is an ideal base from which to enjoy your Norfolk Broads holiday. Take advantage of the free or discounted day boat hire and get out and explore this unique river navigation. This wetland habitat is known as the wildlife capital of the UK so bring your binoculars to spot a variety of seabirds, waterfowl, fish, seals, hawks and the Swallowtail Butterfly. The Norfolk Broads is only the place to spot this particular species of butterfly.
Further afield you may wish to head to the coast at Horsey and do a bit of seal spotting. Great Yarmouth is an excellent choice for a day at the seaside full of childhood nostalgia and traditional family activities. Norwich is also easily accessible and is a wonderful medieval city to explore. There are many beautiful villages located near to Potter Heigham where you will find lovely cafes, pubs and restaurants to enjoy the local cuisine whilst soaking up the laid back atmosphere of the Broads with scenic views across the tranquil water or bustling marinas. At the end of your busy day head back to your cottage and enjoy the last of the summer sun or cosy round your electric stove in the lounge.
