Bramley is a cosy en-suite Wigwam located at Hill Farm & Orchard. As a small and unique family site with only 4 Wigwams it offers a tranquil and peaceful setting for either some alone time, a romantic getaway or a rural family holiday. Bramley comes with its own private hot tub for that added touch of luxury. Your Wigwam and glamping experience is located within the historic orchard on the farm which grows damsons, apples and pears. The farm produces its own apple juice which you can pre-order and have delivered to your Wigwam on arrival. Your glamping experience is further enhanced by the provision of your own bath robes, towels and champagne flutes to create the ultimate relaxing spa environment.

The farm is situated within the Buckinghamshire countryside overlooking the beautiful Chiltern Hills. Located next to the Grand Union Canal, the towpath provides an excellent opportunity for canalside walks, fishing or cycling.

Bramley is pet friendly which means the whole family can come along. The Wigwam can accommodate up to 4 people in 1 double bed and 1 double sofa bed. It is has a spacious open plan layout which extends out to your own private decking, picnic area and hot tub. Here you can enjoy some alfresco dining and relaxation. If you like cosy camp fire evenings then you make wish to take advantage of the fire pit that is available on site.

There are many local attractions and amenities nearby such as Ascott House & Gardens, Whipsnade Zoo, Woburn Safari Park and Harry Potter World. However, you may simply enjoy the slower pace of life, watching the world go by on the canals whilst taking in the breathtaking views of the Ivinghoe Hills Nature Reserve and the Chiltern escarpment. This waterside location will provide you with the rest and relaxation you deserve.

Location Information

Bramley is located next to the Grand Union Canal, a short drive from Leighton Buzzard.

There are various attractions in the local area to suit everyone, such as Ascott House & Gardens, Ivinghoe Beacon, Woburn Safari Park, Bletchley Park and Warner Bros Studio Tours London also known as Harry Potter World.

There are a few local shops nearby for provisions, there's a Tescos and Morrisons about 5 miles away. However there are farm shops closer such as A J Groom in Livinghoe which is 2.9 miles away. The glamping site also grow and produce their own apple juice.

Terms & Conditions


Payment Policy
To secure your booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. We do not accept provisional bookings so please do not make a booking unless you are in the position to honour it. Please contact us with any queries or if you prefer to make a telephone booking.
Cancellation/No-Show Policy
In the event of cancellations or no-shows, we do not offer any (either full or partial) refund. However, if more than 48 hours notice is given, we may, at our discretion, offer an alternative date suitable to you only if we have the availability to do so.
Travel Insurance
We strongly advise you to take out the appropriate levels of travel insurance so you can have peace of mind that your costs will be covered, should you need to cancel your holiday for any reason.
Farm Safety
No one is permitted to visit the farm without prior permission. Please do not allow children to play on farm machinery. Gates should be left as found and the country code adhered to. Maximum speed limit of 5mph on-site must be adhered to at all times.
Smoking
Smoking (including e-cigarette devices) is not permitted in the Wigwam® Cabins or in any communal areas. Please ensure cigarette butts are disposed of safely in bins provided and not littered.
Dogs
Well behaved dogs are allowed on our site but must be kept on leads and owners must be responsible for them at all times. Please remember Hill Farm & Orchard is a working farm with sheep and cattle grazing in close proximity to the Wigwam® Cabins and the campsite. Any damage caused by your dog will be chargeable. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after own dogs. Never leave your dog unattended. Failure to comply with these rules will result in you being asked to leave the site and no refunds will be given.
Maximum of 1 well behaved dog per wigwam and 2 well behaved dogs per tent pitch.
Noise
Music is not permitted. Please be considerate of other guests. Keep noise to a minimum after 10pm. If you do not adhere to this or any warnings, police will be called.
You must not use a drone, powered model aircraft or any other flying object. You must not use Chinese lanterns, fireworks or similar. You may not ride bicycles, scooters (or similar) so as to cause a nuisance or undue noise.

Sub-letting
You are not allowed to sublet the holiday accommodation or any part thereof during your period of stay. If we discover that a Wigwam or camping pitch has been sublet the party will be asked to leave site and the main booker will remain liable for the full cost of the booking.
Complaints Procedure
We take all comments from guests seriously. In the unlikely event that you wish to make a complaint, you can contact us by telephone or email and we will respond. We will try to resolve any issues as soon as possible.
Code of Conduct
We expect all our visitors to respect and look after the site, communal buildings and, if applicable, the Wigwam® you are staying in. We also require you to respect your fellow visitors and keep noise levels to a minimum after 10pm. Parents are responsible for their children, as such children must be supervised at all times.
Property/ land / contents
Please ensure that you take all reasonable care in the use of Hill Farm & Orchard property and contents, including the security of the property. Report any damages as they occur. We reserve the right to charge for all and any repairs, losses or replacements necessitated by the negligent act or omission of any of your party, guests or invitees. If necessary, this may include an administration charge.
Loss, damage, injury or fire
Hill Farm & Orchard take no responsibility for loss, damage or injury to you or any of your party, vehicles or property by fire, accident, theft or weather as a consequence of this agreement or the occupancy following on thereon. We recommend you have adequate travel, vehicle and property insurance.

Arrival/Departure Procedures
Check-in for Wigwams
You can check in from 4pm onwards. Late night arrivals should telephone in advance to arrange.
Departure for Wigwams
Please check out by 10am. Whilst we clean all Wigwam® Cabins and amenity areas we do ask that you leave the Wigwam® Cabins tidy. No food should be left in the fridges. All dishes should be washed and dried and put away in the kitchen area.
Group Bookings
Please contact us directly to organise parties or corporate events.
Hot Tubs
If staying in a Wigwam with a hot tub, please make sure you have read the instructions located in the wigwam and near the hot tub. Please note that these are for the wigwam guests only and you are responsible for any damages caused when using the hot tub. Please note we cannot guarantee that the hot tub will be up to temperature at your time of arrival.
Waste disposal and recycling
Please keep Wigwam® Cabins tidy inside and outside. On departing the Wigwam®, areas should be in a tidy, litter free condition. Take/clear your waste to the bins/recycling points provided. Where no designated bin is provided for an item/object, please take item home for disposal. We reserve the right to apply an extra charge for unauthorised litter disposal or unsatisfactory conditions.
Barbeques
Unfortunately, guests are not permitted to bring own barbeques to the Wigwams. Firepits along with firewood, coal, fire starter pack, set of 3 cooking utensils and fire-resistant glove are available to hire for £20.00 for the duration of your stay. Additional firewood and coal is available upon request and an additional charge of £10.
Do not dispose of ash or embers in hedgerows or waste bins. A designated ash bin is provided.

Important Information

  • Fishing is available on the Grand Union Canal, which is a short walk away.

  • An Environmental Agency rod licence is required to fish.

  • Day tickets available on the bank. Adults - £5, concession (OAP & disabled) - £3, junior (under 16) - £2.

  • Non-members may not fish the clubs canal waters at night.

  • A local bait and angling shop is Browns located in Leighton Buzzard(3.5 miles).

    Pitstone Windmill - A restored mill part of the Ashridge estate with a surrounding area for stunning walks. A National Trust site (approximately 3.4 miles away).

    Leighton Buzzard Railway - A premier heritage railway attraction that runs trains on a three mile line from March to October and a special visitor in December ( approximately 4.5 miles away).

    Ascott House & Gardens - A former hunting box dating back to the 16th century, take a look around the house and the gardens and then a visit to the tea room. A National Trust site (approximately 4.6 miles away).

    Ivinghoe Beacon - A prominent hill and landmark in the Chiltern Hills suitable for some lovely walks with stunning views (approximately 5.9 miles away).

    Whipsnade Zoo - Take the family to visit the animals at Whipsnade ( approximately 8 miles away).

    Woburn Safari Park - A drive-through or walk-through safari park to help you get close to the animals (approximately 14.7 miles away).

    Warner Bros. Studio Tour London - Also known as Harry Potter World, go and see the story of Harry Potter and how they turned it into many films. A must do for any fan of the Harry Potter Series (approximately 21.9 miles away).

Access Information

  • A single track road leads you to Mill Farm and Orchard and the main farmhouse.
  • Parking is located outside the main farmhouse.
  • The Wigwam is a short walk from reception via a gravel path. You will pass through a large wooden gate with a latch to enter into the orchard.
  • The Wigwam is located in a mature orchard with fruit trees dotted around. This is a glamping site and the grassy land can be uneven in places.
  • There are level pathways leading you to your Wigwam.
  • The pathways are well lit by lights that are on a motion sensor.
  • There is an 18cm step from the path onto the Wigwam decking.
  • There is a 13cm threshold step to enter into the Wigwam.
  • The interior of the Wigwam is all on one level inside.
  • The Wigwam has good colour contrast between doors, walls and floors inside. Doors and doorframes are wood. The walls are light in colour.
  • The orchard sits along the Grand Union Canal which is fenced off for safety.
  • There is a step up to the decking for the hot tub and a further 2 non-slip steps to enter the hot tub.
  • Assistance dogs are welcome.
