Located on the south coast of Grenada in the beautiful Caribbean West Indies, Dunhams Villa is a unique seaside holiday property with echoes of 007 James Bond movies. Built into the hill, it has a lawned rooftop garden (not suitable for children) and offers stunning sea views from its imposing first floor balcony across a fabulous lagune towards Egmont Harbour. The property also has a boat dock with a swimming ladder from which you can take refreshing dips in the sea. The Villa has plenty of parking in the shade plus the added security of electric gates.

There are three king-size double bedrooms - two on the first floor with doors opening onto the fabulous balcony and one on the ground floor, convenient for outside access (perhaps an early morning dip). On the lower level there is also an open-plan living area with a spiral staircase leading to the upper floor. All 3 bedrooms have their own en-suite bathrooms. A large kitchen / dining area is located on the first floor, which leads through large double doors opening out onto the furnished balcony area, offering al fresco dining and truly stunning waterside views. The property is air-conditioned throughout, although it normally enjoys a cooling tradewind breeze from the east, and there is free WiFi.

There are a selection of beaches to discover, the nearest one is a two minute drive or you can simply swim across the bay to the beach ‘Ursula Andress style’ (ref: Dr. No). Turning left and walking for 5 minutes over the hill will take you to Le Phare Bleu which is a lovely marina with a bar, restaurant and swimming pool that you can use if ordering food or drinks; plus they have Hobie Cats (small catamarans) to rent out if you have suitable experience.

The nearest supermarket is within a five minute drive and there is also a deli/supermarket named ‘Meat & Greet’ – open Tuesday to Saturday – which sells the best meat on the island. The island’s capital of St. Georges is approx. 22 minutes’ drive and has colourful homes, interesting Georgian buildings and an early-18th-century Fort George overlooking Carenage Harbour.

The villa is approximately 20 minutes’ drive from Maurice Bishop International Airport, which is located in the Island's Capital of St George. The holiday cost is for accommodation rental only and excludes flights and transfers which you will need to arrange independently. We strongly advise guests to take out their own holiday cancellation and medical travel insurance.

First floor two double bedrooms with king sized beds with double doors opening onto balcony. Both have ensuite bathrooms with Jacuzzi double baths with overhead showers, washbasins and WCs.

Deposit is 30% with the balance is due 6 weeks beforehand.

£200 refundable security deposit, paid with the balance.

Check in is from 4pm onwards & check out is by midday.

The house does have air conditioning and if left on can cost $700 a week to run. 150 KWH is included in the price and after that it is charged at cost $1.15 per unit.

Dunhams Villa is located on the South Coast of Grenada. The villa is approximately 20 minutes drive from Maurice Bishop International Airport, which is located in the Island's Capital of St George.

Turning left and walking for 5 minutes over the hill will take you to Le Phare Bleu which is a lovely marina and bar/restaurant with a swimming pool. There is also a deli/supermarket open Tuesday to Saturday. The marina office can organise car hire - the owner has a full list of car rental companies who will also meet and greet at the airport.

The Lightship is also berthed alongside the marina where the kayaks are based - they have live music onboard on a Friday starting at 8.30 with bar snacks and drinks available.

'Real Value IGA' in Spice Island Mall is 20 minutes drive, next to Grand Anse beach - they have UK brands to help you feel at home.

The closest beach is just 2 minutes drive from the villa.

A full set of guides and books will be available at the villa so you can explore. The middle of the island is very beautiful. Day trips up north are also recommended.
