Cordon Rouge Cottage 4 is a popular two storey terraced cottage situated in a fabulous location, looking directly over the River Bure in the popular village of Wroxham, within very easy reach of local shops, pubs and restaurants. French doors look out onto a furnished decking area and waterside lawn where you’ll have an excellent vantage point; allowing you some of the best views of the river as hire boats and wildlife bustle past. Wroxham is often referred to as the 'capital of the Broads' and is an ideal base from which to enjoy your Norfolk Broads holiday.
Recently refurbished and perfect for a family or two couples, Cordon Rouge Cottage 4 is clean and modern. The property sleeps 4 people in one double bedroom and one twin. There is an open-plan living area with comfortable seating, a dining table, plus a fully-equipped kitchen with integrated appliances and a microwave. There is a flat screen TV with Freeview and a DVD player. Patio doors lead to a furnished patio overlooking the water, which will allow you to enjoy al fresco dining, a spot of fishing, feeding the ducks or simply sunbathing whilst enjoying the fabulous view. There is a family bathroom with loo, wash basin and bath with overhead shower (great for small children). The property has electric panel heating throughout, making it suitable for holidays all year round. Allocated parking to the rear of the property and free Wifi are both provided. Travel cot and highchair available on request.
Wroxham has great transport links. A train from the local station to Norwich will take just 12 minutes and in the opposite direction it’s just 25 minutes to the seaside at Cromer (known for its fresh crab). There are regular buses from the village centre to Great Yarmouth and Norwich, which take you through numerous pretty villages en route. Wroxham itself offers waterside restaurants, a handful of pubs, a variety of takeaways and some great local shops including the famous ‘Roy’s of Wroxham’ department store which has a wonderful Food Hall and houses its very own McDonalds! Local attractions include Wroxham Barns, Wroxham Miniature Worlds, the Bure Valley Railway and Broads Tours river trips (guest discount available).
FREE Morning Day Boat hire: Enjoy a FREE morning half-day aboard a Standard Day Boat when staying during the off-peak season (subject to availability). Off-peak season is anytime not during school or bank holidays*. Booking in advance is recommended to avoid disappointment. A 25% guest discount is available for a Broads Tours river trip commencing from Wroxham.
