Benmore Farm is a handsome detached stone cottage that sits in its own charming private grounds, surrounded by truly fabulous scenery and located immediately beneath the Ben More and Stob Binnein Monroes. With a beautiful private waterfall to the rear of the property, there are stunning mountain views from the front across the nearby lake and lambing meadows to the hills of Glen Dochart, and Loch Iubhair. The property sleeps up to 8 people in 3 bedrooms plus a sofa bed in the lounge. Perfect for lovers of the great outdoors, Benmore Farm also has its own fishing rights!

Inside, Benmore Farm is furnished to a high standard. Immaculate throughout, there is a good size, fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, oven and hob, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster and washing machine, plus a dining table. Just off the kitchen there’s also a utility area and drying room and a downstairs W/C. There are two reception rooms, a lounge and a snug with a wood burning stove that ‘fairly belts oot the heat!’(logs are included). There is a flat-screen TV, DVD, SKY TV and Wifi. The lounge also offers a second dining table and chairs, plus a sofa bed suitable for two guests. There are three comfortable bedrooms including one king-size double bedroom and two twin rooms – two are en-suite and the other has a full bathroom just across the staircase. The property is sound proofed throughout, has radiator central heating and is mostly carpeted. Outside there is private parking and a covered private entrance (excellent for wellies). The spacious walled garden has a furnished patio and ‘views to die for’.

Benmore Farm is situated just 2 miles from the village centre at Crianlarich. The nearest airport is Oban Airport which is less than 40 miles from the accommodation. Crianlarich boasts a general store, local pub (the Rod & Reel) and a train station with taxis available. There are also two hotels nearby with their own restaurants. This area is a Mecca for outdoor enthusiasts and ‘Munro Baggers’ – there are some amazing walking trails here. There is no light pollution either, which makes this the perfect location for star-gazing.

Stunning scenery, beautiful mountain ranges, breath-taking lochs, excellent walks, fishing and an abundance of wildlife make Benmore Farm a beautiful and memorable place to stay.

Cancellation policy
Cancellation 5 days before arrival, will receive a full refund, after 5 days no refund will be given, unless we can resell those dates.

Arrival and departure times

If you plan to arrive late in the evening, please let us know in advance so we can ensure you're well taken care of.
Departure is up to 10am so we have time to prepare for our next guests. Please let us know in advance if you wish to arrive or depart different to our specified times. We will always try to accommodate your requests.

The property is cleaned and maintained to a very high standard. May we ask that you maintain these high standards of cleanliness in the Farm house throughout your holiday.

  • The salmon fishing season runs from the 15th January - 15th October. Please note there is strictly no Salmon fishing permitted on Sundays throughout the year.
  • The trout fishing season runs from the 15th March - 5th October.

Local Supermarkets - Londis is a 1.5-mile walk/ drive away in the village of Crianlarich. There is also a New large Co-op 15 minutes away in the village of Killin.

Crianlarich Village - Only 5 minutes by car, there is a local pub, a tea room, a village store.

Falls of Dochart - Situated in the village of Killin.

Ben Lawers - The highest mountain in Southern part of the Scottish Highlands, approximately 40 minutes drive from the property.

Glencoe - The village is located within the mouth of the Glen and banks of Loch Leven. A must see, approximately 1 hours drive from the property.

Stirling Castle and Monuments - Approximately 1 hour drive.

Perth, Pitlochry and Crieff - are all 1-hour drive away.

Edinburgh & Glasgow - Benmore Farm is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes drive to Glasgow and 2 hours drive to Edinburgh.
