Norfolk Broads Houseboats for 2021 Holidays
Where better for a spot of fishing than in your very own ‘floating’ houseboat on the Norfolk and Suffolk Broads? There are a large variety of fish on the Broads, including pike, carp, eel, bream, roach, trench, perch and rudd. Our houseboats also offer a peaceful retreat for couples, families and friends. A holiday on a Broadland houseboat offers an ideal base to explore the scenic Broads National Park, which has an abundance of wildlife, including rare plants and birds.
Houseboats at Beccles in Suffolk:
The market town of Beccles on the River Waveney has quirky, independent shops, restaurants and cafes. There’s also a nearby lido, Friday street market and local history museum. Further afield, you’ll discover transport museums, outdoor karting and medieval churches. Of course, if you’d prefer to relax quietly on your veranda beside the water, you might be lucky enough to spot a kingfisher or otter.
All of our houseboats at Beccles are situated on the edge of a quiet marina and have a fully equipped kitchen, a family bathroom and sleep up to 4 people in 2 bedrooms. All are pet friendly and there are guided canoe tours, kayaks and day boats available for hire locally.
